In Distress? Let Us Impress!

Writer: Jill LeskoJill Lesko

In recent months, we have been made aware of two local Pittsburgh wedding venues (Lenape Heights Golf Resort in Ford City and The Doubletree Hotel/Monroeville Convention Center) closing their doors.  Without any warning, excited couples have been left with panic and despair, scrambling to find a new location to host their wedding. We can only imagine the feelings of distrust and anger this must have caused.  We just want you to know that we are here if you need us. Like the closing of The Morning Glory Inn and others in the past, booking a couple previously booked elsewhere is not new to us. Avenue in Sarver has got you. We are here to help you to reduce stress and give you the wedding of your dreams, no matter how short of notice we have.  We have an experienced staff who have planned a full wedding and reception of 175 guests  in as quickly as six short due to a previous closure.  Avenue in Sarver allows any insured vendor you select, so you won’t lose any deposits.  We also provide a personal wedding coordinator and decor for you to use at no additional cost.  We have dates available in 2024 and 2025 if you are interested. Email our owner, Cathy Burnhiemer, cathy@avenueinsarver.com.
